Bungalow Restoration
A small house with good bones and a serious contamination problem. After remediation, the most valuable change was also the least visible in a photograph: the ceilings were raised, which turned a cramped plan into rooms that feel generous without adding a square foot. The finishes are deliberately plain — dark floors, white walls, and daylight.
Scope of work
- State-certified environmental remediation
- Ceilings raised throughout
- New kitchen and bathrooms
- Refinished flooring and full repaint
- Exterior repair and landscaping
During the work
Down to the studs and the stone.
The basement mid-renovation: framing exposed, original foundation walls bare, every surface that could hold contamination stripped out and taken away.
