Half of what makes a house feel cared for happens outside it. Alongside the kitchen, the refinished hardwood and the repainted interior, this project rebuilt the yard from bare dirt: stamped concrete terrace, new cedar fencing, planting beds and a proper front walk. The two halves were designed together rather than in sequence.
